🏞️ Challenge the wind, see the fog 🏞️
Driving up the elevated road to welcome the first cold in Chong Yen. Driving by myself, I got drunk because there were a lot of curves (didn't count). Narrow, steep, 28 km from the Mae Wong National Park Office, Pang Sila Thong District, Kamphaeng Phet is the end of this road at Chong Yen. It takes about 50-60 minutes. Here, the weather is cool all year round because it is a wind channel that blows from Umphang combined with the wind that blows from Khlong Lan National Park and Khlong Wang Chao National Park. It is also a beautiful sunset viewpoint. Today, we stayed here using the park's tents.
Today is the night before a work day. I thought there would be no tourists. But it turned out that the tents were almost full in the field (accommodating no more than 150 people/day). Most of them came in large groups. They brought their own grilled food to cook. The conversation was fun. But it didn't last long because the weather was very cold tonight. We had to hurry into the tent. Late at night, I secretly peeked out to see the stars that filled the sky, which was very beautiful. There is no electricity here. There is only instant noodles for sale from the park officer. But the water, toilets are convenient and the water is very cold.
