Hotel Urashima is named after the legend of Urashima Taro in Wakayama Prefecture.
You can't check in unless you get on the back of a turtle (turtle boat) 🐢

Also, there's so much to do here that it would be a waste to check in at night 🤣

Check in by boat, ride the longest escalator in Japan, go to the observation deck, eat all you can at the buffet, do a stamp rally around two cave hot springs and three indoor baths, wear a turtle-patterned yukata, play at an emotional game center, sing karaoke...isn't it just barely enough to check in at 2pm? 😂

It's great value for money and has so much fun, so I recommend checking in early 🔥
