A perfect place to visit with kids during the holidays!

During this quick trip to Nagoya, I specifically planned a day to visit Ghibli Park. Tickets must be purchased in advance on the official website, and they're incredibly popular. Foreigners purchasing tickets using the English website generally have two ticket options:
- Standard: Entry to the three main theme parks
- Premium: Entry to the five theme parks
However, since I booked only a week in advance, the Premium tickets were already sold out, leaving me with only Standard tickets. There were no additional tickets available on-site, so those who decided to visit on a whim might miss out. This is something travelers should be aware of.
Access is relatively convenient, about a 30-minute drive from downtown Nagoya. There's parking available outside the park. The parking fee is 500 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays, which is a reasonable price. The park is even more extensive than expected, with a well-planned layout. From the entrance, you're greeted by a wealth of details, and the atmosphere quickly immerses you in the fantastical world of Ghibli. Although I only visited three parks this time, every detail, from the architecture to the sets, was meticulously recreated. Ghibli fans will appreciate the dedication. Unfortunately, the limited ticket types made the experience feel a bit incomplete. Next time, if I can snag a Premium ticket, I'll be able to explore every area more fully.
Also, check out the special exhibition hall near the station. This time, it happened to be dedicated to Spirited Away, which was fantastic! #GhibliPark #Nagoya
