"Togakushi Nakasha" is one of the five Togakushi shrines⛩️

Around the torii gate of Togakushi Nakasha, there are three Togakushi Sanbonsugi, and when you connect the three points, they form an equilateral triangle.
The first one is on the right side after passing through the shrine's torii gate and climbing the stairs. It is a magnificent cedar made up of three large cedars🌲It was so big and impressive!
The second one is across the street from the Togakushi Tourist Center 🌲
The third one is next to a soba restaurant called Uzuraya 🌲

Beyond the first three cedars there is a long staircase, and when you climb it you will be greeted by a large sacred tree on the left 🌲

The worship hall, the Sazare waterfall to the right of it, and the birds singing create a very mystical space ✨

When I was visiting Miyazaki Prefecture some time ago,
I heard that "When Amaterasu Omikami, famous in Japanese mythology, hid herself in the Heavenly Cave (present-day Takamagahara in Miyazaki Prefecture), Ame-no-Tajikarao no Mikoto, who boasted unparalleled divine power, threw the rock door away, and it reached deep into the mountains of Shinshu, and the place came to be called "Togakushi." This is how the two cities became sister cities.
