🤔Personal feelings:
Because I was distracted by a meeting, it was already four o'clock when I arrived. It was getting dark so I didn't go around very carefully. I came out at five forty, which was a bit rushed. There are really a lot of exhibits (the modern and contemporary exhibition halls only have display boards but no exhibits), and the types are also quite wide. The more famous ones include bronze ware, pottery products, Ding kiln baby pillows, etc. No wonder it was renamed from Nanyang City Museum to Museum (although I don’t know why the big characters on the sign at the door have not been changed). My favorites are the pottery figurines of various shapes and small pottery animals. What is most shocking is that my favorite pottery dogs actually have a separate pottery dog exhibition hall. There are dogs all over the hall! (Although there are some people and other small animals mixed in) Dog lovers are ecstatic. Then the most distinctive feature is the South-to-North Water Diversion Exhibition Hall, because Danjiangkou in Xichuan, Nanyang is the source of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. There is a three-color pigeon hall opposite the cultural and creative store on the first floor. You can sit there and have some snacks when you are hungry, but I feel that there is a car sickness-inducing smell in it.
🕹About stamping:
There are 9 stamp machines in the museum distributed in various exhibition halls. You need to buy special cards worth 38r to collect stamps.
In the cultural and creative exhibition hall (cultural and creative store) near the entrance and exit of the museum, you can get 25 stamps for every 10r you spend. (I saw online that it was free, but the clerk said I had to pay for it) (The most annoying thing is that I brought the stamp book but forgot it in the car, and was too lazy to go to the parking lot to get it)
🎤Others: If you have time, it is recommended to visit the nearby "Three Museums and One
I visited all of them (museum, library, cultural center, Nanyang Grand Theater). After all, I was already here, right? They were right next to each other or just across the road, very close.
