Togakushi soba from Nagano is one of the three great soba noodles in Japan!

The soba restaurant "Uzuraya" where you can eat delicious Togakushi soba is located near Togakushi Nakasha Shrine😊

When I visited the restaurant just before 11am, there were already many customers waiting in front of the restaurant.

There was a 1-2 hour wait, but
I was able to write my "current time" and "name" on the waiting list in front of the restaurant and go sightseeing, which was very helpful. When I returned at the time the staff told me, I was guided smoothly.

The soba noodles were chewy and smooth, and when eaten with spicy grated daikon (a condiment unique to Togakushi), it was very delicious 😋

Large serving of zaru soba 1100 yen
Zaru tororo soba 1140 yen

Assorted mountain vegetables and vegetable tempura 1000 yen

From the large window inside the restaurant, you can see the very large Sanbonsugi (the third tree) of Togakushi 🌲
