A shrine with a history spanning over 2,000 years, founded mainly at the foot of the sacred mountain, Mt. Togakushi. It consists of five shrines: Okusha, Nakasha, Hokosha, Kuzuryusha, and Hinomikosha.

The Okusha Forest of Togakushi Shrine is widely known as its symbol, with more than 200 giant cedar trees stretching for about 500 meters from the Zuishinmon Gate.

Access
Take the bus bound for Togakushi Kogen via Loop Bridge from Nagano Station Bus Stop No. 7 (in front of the Alpico Kotsu Bus Nagano Station General Information Center). (Approximately 1 hour)

Hokosha: Get off at Togakushi Hokosha

Nakasha: Get off at Togakushi Nakasha

Okusha: Get off at Togakushi Okusha Iriguchi
