The Hypocenter park in nagasaki is the exact location where the atomic bomb was dropped on 9 August 1945, leading to many tragic events and awful effects after the bombing. This park was built in commemoration of the past happening and to remind us that war is never a good thing, with lives taken away and cities being destroyed.

It is great to see now how nagasaki came out of dark times and is booming now and how it is all developed. The park is serene and has lush greenery with a pretty canal and bridge right next to it. Take a walk here and appreciate all the good things in life. It is a meaningful time here as i visit the hypocenter park. The park has monuments and memorials scattered around the park.
