Nagasaki, like Hiroshima, bears the historical scars of the atomic bomb.
In order to commemorate this painful past, the Peace Park was established at the atomic bomb site in Nagasaki, as well as several memorial attractions in the surrounding area, such as the Peace Memorial Statue, the Atomic Bomb Center Monument, the Atomic Bomb Center Park, the Atomic Bomb Memorial Museum, etc., all of which are of great historical significance.
Walking in the Matsuyama-cho area of Peace Park, it is really peaceful and quiet. When the atomic bomb fell in Nagasaki, it didn't look like anything serious at the scene, but the only remaining charred pillars of a building next to it showed the power of the explosion at that time, making people feel the cruelty and ruthlessness of war.
Admission to the Atomic Bomb Memorial Museum is free. It is a place to commemorate the victims of the atomic bomb and is quite solemn. The glass curtain structure in the museum is very unique, and materials for origami cranes are provided, so that everyone can fold paper cranes to pray for peace and hope that the scars can be healed.
