Changchun Museum of Jilin Province was established in September 2003 and is directly under the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture. It is a comprehensive history and art museum.

The museum currently has a collection of nearly 100,000 pieces, ranging from ancient times to modern times, with a collection of essences and rich content;

Among them are Chinese calligraphy and paintings from various dynasties, and cultural relics from the ancient northeastern frontiers of Goguryeo, Bohai, and Manchu.

The collection of modern and contemporary revolutionary relics, Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army relics and other relics is unique and occupies an important position in the domestic museum community.

Since the reform and opening up, the museum has held more than 1,000 exhibitions of various types and received more than 10 million visitors.
