This hidden teahouse has a rather long name: Coffee Bean - Circle - Triangle - Square (ナカシマガワノエン マルサンカクシカク). It's probably easy to spot by the layout of the entrance. Renovated from an old Japanese house, the shop boasts high ceilings, creating an open feel. The floors and beams feature rustic wood grain. The shop displays a wide variety of coffee beans, tea leaves, and elegant pottery, creating a cozy and lovely atmosphere. They sell coffee beans and herbal teas, which can also be enjoyed inside. The hot water is heated over a charcoal fire, not by electricity. While the language wasn't completely intelligible, the owner's sincerity was palpable. I ended up buying dark-roasted beans from Madagascar and some Japanese pottery.
