Attractions: Nago Zoo and Botanical Gardens
📍Address: Nago 4607-41, Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture
🕰️Business hours: 9:30~17:30
💰Average consumption: Adults 1,800 yen (middle school students and above), children 1,000 yen (4-12 years old), free for children under 4 years old. Cute Animal Area: Admission fee 300 yen, feed 200 yen. (You can enter the park and go to the cute animal area to decide whether to pay for admission.)
💞Recommendation reason: Nago Zoo and Botanical Gardens covers an area of about 220,000 square meters, divided into areas such as Flamingo Lake and Amazon Jungle. In the tropical jungle composed of more than 3,600 species of cacti, succulents and more than 500 species of cedar plants, you can observe and appreciate more than 170 rare animals at the closest distance. Most of the birds and cute animals are free-range, which means there are almost no fences. The birds walk around you and you can buy feed to feed them. Because the park is so large, there is also a light railway in the park, which can be used to travel around the park. This is a relatively unpopular tourist attraction, almost only visited by Japanese people. It is a place with high educational significance.
🚍Transportation tips: The most convenient way is of course to drive yourself, or take bus No. 77 Nago East Line from Naha Bus Terminal and get off at Nago Shoko High School, then walk for about 15 minutes.
