Fun For All The Family, The Nagoya City Science Museum

The Science museum of Nagoya is a great place to check out if you’re visiting the city, especially if you have children.

The entrance fee depends on your choices but you can do the museum, planetarium and any of the special exhibitions. However the planetarium experience is only in Japanese so I only did the museum.

The museum displays are also just in Japanese but the audio guide is very helpful!

The museum is separated by theme and there are lots of interactive exhibits on each floor. The highlight for me being the tornado simulator and the huge model railway - highlighting the different transport infrastructure of Nagoya.

Follow the escalators up and go floor by floor, then get the glass lift down as it offers a great views of the surrounding area.

Head to Fushimi metro stop and follow the signs!
