🌸【Nagoya】Atsuta Jingu Cherry Blossom Viewing Guide: A romantic journey through the sea of pink flowers💕
My dears, if you go to Nagoya in spring, Atsuta Jingu is definitely a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms! Not only are there super beautiful cherry blossoms here, but there are also many photo-taking spots, allowing you to take super textured photos.
📍Great location: Atsuta Shrine is located in Atsuta District, Nagoya City, and is only a 3-minute walk from Jingu-mae Station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Line. The transportation is super convenient. Alternatively, you can take the JR Chuo Line to Atsuta Station and walk for about 8 minutes.
🌸 Superb cherry blossom viewing: There are many cherry trees in Atsuta Shrine, with a wide variety of varieties. You can enjoy the pink sea of flowers from late March to mid-April. Walking in the shrine, it feels like you are in a pink tunnel, super romantic.
📷 Beautiful for taking photos: The best spot to view cherry blossoms is near the main hall of the shrine. The white and pink cherry blossoms interweave into a beautiful scene that is very charming. In addition, the large camphor tree and Kiyomizu-sha Shrine in the shrine are also super beautiful check-in spots where you can take photos with a very Japanese feel.
✨ Special experience: Atsuta Shrine is one of the three major shrines in Japan, enshrining Atsuta Okami and the Kusanagi sword, one of the three sacred artifacts. Here, you can experience traditional Japanese Shinto culture and feel the solemnity and tranquility of the thousand-year-old shrine.
💡 Tips:
There are a lot of people during the cherry blossom season, so it is recommended to go there between 7 and 9 in the morning or in the evening to avoid the crowds and enjoy the quiet cherry blossom time.
There is a treasure house in the shrine, which houses more than 6,000 precious cultural relics. The ticket price is 300 yen. The visiting hours are 9:00-16:30. It is closed on the last Wednesday and Thursday of each month and from December 25th to 31st at the end of the year.
Taking photos is prohibited inside the shrine, but you can take photos of the surrounding natural scenery at will. Please remember to abide by the rules.
My dears, next time you come to Nagoya, you must go to Atsuta Jingu Shrine to enjoy the cherry blossoms and start a romantic pink journey! 💕
