Springtime Serenity at Tsuruma Park, Nagoya

#springitinerary

Tsuruma Park in Nagoya is an absolute dream during cherry blossom season. As one of the city's oldest parks, it offers a beautiful blend of Western and Japanese landscaping, with wide lawns, a romantic European-style fountain, and tree-lined paths. I visited in early April when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom—hundreds of Somei Yoshino trees creating a sea of soft pink. The hanami (flower viewing) vibe was warm and festive, with families picnicking under the trees and friends gathering for springtime fun. There’s also a charming pond, rose gardens, and the historical bandstand that adds a nostalgic touch. It’s a must-visit in Nagoya, especially in spring!
