Chill 3D2N Nagoya with good food & tips 🏯🍜

Itinerary in April ✨

Day 1:
We arrived in the evening and had a good sukiyaki course meal for about $100 pp. Need reservation first.

🍴Shabu Shabu Restaurant - Sakuyajima

📍Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER
Pretty night view before heading back hotel

Day 2:

📍Shirawakawa -go
We booked a day tour from trip.com to shirawakawago - a beautiful fairy village.

The tour was well organised and definitely an efficient way to travel if you only have a day.

But i would have preferred staying a night in Takayama so we could fully enjoy more areas

Day 3:
🍴Komeda Coffee

We had breakfast here and tried the iconic red bean toast which was so good

📍Nagoya Castle
Need to pay entrance fee to see the castle. About 500yen pp

🍴Ichiran Ramen - 15 minutes queue for lunch

We went last minute shopping before leaving the next day. Bought shiro/aiam perfumes - famous japan brands & alot of snacks from Donki.

🍴Hitoiki
We went to a modern izakaya for dinner. Was super good and had cosy vibes. Love this! This is a Must try & the people there are so friendly!

✨ Tips:

1. Japan shops closes around 8pm, so it is better to shop first before having dinner to maximise your time

2. Donki with >10000 yen spend can get extra 5% discount for using online voucher (can find online). Tried and used it

3. Tax refund counters are efficient but usually you can only collect your refund on the same day of purchase
