🏯✨“Nagoya Day Trip – Focusing on Nagoya Castle”
When you think of Nagoya, the first thing that comes to mind is Nagoya Castle. A symbol of the Edo period, its iconic donjon (main keep) and golden shachihoko (golden dragon head decorations) are a symbol. Inside, a historical exhibition hall offers a glimpse into Nagoya's culture and battle history. The gardens surrounding the castle are a delightful stroll, with their changing scenery each season.
📍 Address: 1-1 Honmaru, Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture
After visiting Nagoya Castle, we recommend heading to the nearby Osu Shopping Arcade. With a variety of food, souvenir shops, and traditional shops, it's a great place to soak up the local atmosphere. You can especially sample Nagoya specialties like tebasaki (fried chicken wings) and miso katsu (sliced pork cutlet). 📍 Address: 2 Osu, Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture
In the afternoon, we recommend visiting the Nagoya TV Tower. Japan's first broadcasting tower, its observation deck offers a panoramic view of Nagoya City. The nighttime view is beautiful, and its connection to Hisaya Odori Park makes for a great stroll.
📍 Address: 3-6-15 Kami, Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture
The Nagoya Subway is an efficient way to get around. A day trip from Nagoya Castle to Osu Shopping District to TV Tower offers a chance to experience history, food, and views.
