Traveling to Okinawa is often done on budget airlines, but flights often depart or arrive very early to meet discounted fares. The Naha Oroku Grand Cabin Hotel, located near Akagamine Station, is undoubtedly the best choice. This was my first time booking this hotel through Trip.com. I was drawn to the fact that it's only a three-minute walk from Akagamine Station. The rooms appear clean, and there are separate gender-separated areas for added security. After checking in, I felt it was truly a fantastic value. The hotel's amenities are quite modern and well-equipped. Even the bathrooms are spacious, with separate wet and dry areas. You can choose your own toiletries and pillows, and even pajamas are provided. The self-service laundry is 400 yen, and the dryer is 100 yen. There's free WiFi, tea and dining options in the lobby (McDonald's and a convenience store are nearby). If you're into Japanese manga, there's also manga available for loan. I initially thought I wouldn't sleep well, but travelers with early morning flights tend to keep noise levels down. Because the rooms are small, if you have a split-body suitcase, I recommend packing your clothes and toiletries separately to save on unpacking! This is a hotel I'd definitely stay at if I'm traveling to Okinawa and have an early flight!
