Shuri Castle しゅりじょう
Located in the southern part of Okinawa Island in the Ryukyu Islands
A Ryukyu-style building east of Naha City; 🏯built between the late 13th and 14th centuries, it was the capital of the Ryukyu Kingdom and the site of the royal palace from the 15th to the 19th century; it has a history of more than 5⃣️0⃣️0⃣️, and was listed as a "World Heritage Site" by the United Nations in 2000 AD; a fire broke out on October 31, 2019: the main hall, the north hall, the south hall, and 7 other buildings burned down

Shuri Castle 🏯 is an important monument in the Ryukyu Islands. It is a Tang Dynasty-style building copied from the prototype left after the war, so it has a bit of Chinese cultural atmosphere
