Spending your holiday during summer in Hokkaido is definitely a good as you can escape from the hot weather and enjoy the flora in Japan.

Tomita farm, located in Furano region, is one of the must visit place when you visit Hokkaido in Summer.
You will be surrounded by the field of Lavender and the other colourful flowers.
Lavender flavour ice cream is delicious.

PS: the melon grew in Furano is the best melon I had before. It's sweet and juicy. You can visit Herb Garden to get unlimited melon with buffet lunch too.
