[Kyoto/Karasuma Oike] Enjoy warabimochi at Kyoto's tangible cultural property "Rokujuan"

🍵Rokujuan
📍Kyoto Karasuma Oike (4 minutes walk from Shijo Station)

Rokujuan is the Kubo family residence (formerly the Imao Keitoshi residence), a nationally registered tangible cultural property.
It is a quaint mansion from the Taisho era and has a very beautiful garden.
If you request, the staff will give you a detailed guide of the mansion💗
It was a fun time learning about the history🥰

This time, I ordered
・Hana Warabi (1,550 yen)
・Hojicha (200 yen)
️📝

Hana Warabi uses edible flowers, so it looks gorgeous and I was enchanted just by looking at it💗
It was like a transparent marble and sparkled✨️

It was served with homemade brown sugar syrup and domestic soybean flour.
It has a firm elasticity and a smooth texture.

You can choose your tea and have refills☺️

It seems that the Hanawarabi changes to Kinmokusei depending on the season, so that's also interesting💕
I'd like to go back and take my time✨
