Fukuoka Travel: A Hidden Gem in Nishinakasu

During my trip to Fukuoka, I stayed at a hotel near Nakasu-Kawabata Station and decided to have dinner nearby. 🥰

I found a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Jingisukan (grilled lamb) made with fresh lamb meat directly sourced from Hokkaido. 🐏

Lamb meat is healthy, high in protein, and low in calories, making it perfect for someone like me who is on a diet. ◎

The interior of the restaurant is stylish, offering a chic and open space with a view of Nakasu's nightscape. 🥹

Many people might think, "I don't like lamb..." but the lamb here is completely free of any gamey smell or strong flavor, which was a pleasant surprise! ❣️

What I particularly liked was the attentive service at the counter seats. The staff would cook each cut of meat to perfection and serve it at the best timing, allowing us to focus on our conversation. 🎶

Additionally, every table had a "Lemon Sour" server installed, offering an all-you-can-drink option for 60 minutes at just 1,000 yen. 🍋

You could pour yourself a drink whenever you wanted, which was incredibly convenient. Lemon Sour pairs perfectly with the rich lamb meat, refreshing your palate and enhancing the flavors. ◎

▶︎ Lamb Yukhoe... 1,408 yen
▶︎ Luxurious Puchi-Puchi Potato Salad... 902 yen
▶︎ Jingisukan Assorted Platter... 8,800 yen (4,400 yen per person, minimum order for 2 people)
▶︎ Spicy Noodles... 1,380 yen

"Lamb Yukhoe"
Being able to eat it as Yukhoe is proof of its freshness. When mixed thoroughly with the egg, it becomes irresistibly delicious. ♡

"Potato Salad"
This unique dish includes a soft-boiled egg, popping tobiko, and squid, offering a delightful texture and flavor.

"Jingisukan Assorted Platter"
- Special Fresh Lamb Jingisukan (Shoulder Loin)
- Premium Bone-In Jingisukan
- Lamb Fillet (Lean Meat)
- Lamb Tongue
- Lamb Sirloin
- Cheese-Stuffed Lamb Sausage

The lamb meat grilled on the Jingisukan pan is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and incredibly tender. One bite fills your mouth with the rich flavor of lamb.

My favorite was the Lamb Sirloin. It was astonishingly tender, with no heaviness from the fat. Pairing it with pea sprouts made it even better.

The Lamb Fillet was moist, tender, and particularly healthy due to its low fat content.

The Lamb Tongue, a rare cut with only 150g available per lamb, was chewy and packed with rich flavor.

Since all the cuts were available as individual menu items, I enjoyed comparing the different textures and flavors of each part.

"Spicy Noodles"
Although it looked fiery red, it was surprisingly mild. The rich tonkotsu-based soup paired perfectly with the chewy konjac noodles and nira-tama (garlic chives and egg), making it incredibly delicious. 🍜

The staff were cheerful, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. 🥰
