Wat Tha Pho Worawihan, Nakhon Si Thammarat

Wat Tha Pho Worawihan is a third-class royal temple of the Worawihan sect belonging to the Thammayut Nikaya sect. Its history dates back to the Ayutthaya period. Established as a royal temple in 1784, it is an important temple with interesting ancient artifacts and buildings. It was once an important site, and was described by His Holiness Somdej Phra Maha Samana Chao Krom Phraya Pavaresvariyalongkorn during his visit to Nakhon Si Thammarat.
