#Kouri Bridge

Okinawa's most beautiful coastline! Kouri Bridge captures the stunning turquoise sea and blue sky that will blow up your memory storage🌈

☁️ Departed from Naha City in the rain early morning, after a one and a half hour drive. Luckily, the weather cleared up and it was sunny upon arrival. At the parking lot beside Kouri Bridge, I was immediately captivated by the Tiffany blue color! The 2-kilometer-long Kouri Bridge looks like a ribbon floating on the sea, with the water on both sides transitioning from emerald green to sapphire blue—truly breathtaking beyond words!

📍Address: Kouri Island, Nakijin Village, Okinawa Prefecture
🚗 Travel tip: Recommended to drive or charter a car; about 1.5 hours from Naha

🌉 Must-visit spots:
1️⃣ Bridgehead Observation Deck
Panoramic center spot! Use a wide-angle lens to capture the "S" curve of the bridge; the morning light makes the sea water even clearer
2️⃣ Beach Trail
A hidden shell beach under the bridge; at low tide, you can walk to the middle of the sea (remember to check the tide schedule!)

📸 Photo tips:
✔️ Stunning drone aerial views (advance approval required)
✔️ The bridge lights up at sunset, with golden railings against a pink-purple sky
✔️ Buy a bottle of blue soda from roadside vending machines as a prop

🍍 Nearby attractions:
Nakijin Castle Ruins (15-minute drive)
Ancient Ryukyu Kingdom castle ruins; the night cherry blossoms during sakura season are spectacular!
Manzamo (30-minute drive)
Witness the wonders of nature’s craftsmanship!

⚠️ Notes:
▫️ No parking on the bridge for photos; patrol cars enforce this
▫️ Strong UV rays in summer! Sunscreen + hat are essential
▫️ Expect queues for beach restrooms during peak season
