5 days and 4 nights to enjoy the Hechi landscape

Finally sorted out my 5-day, 4-night itinerary in Hechi! Avoid the crowds and enjoy the natural wonders and ethnic culture. Plus, a food and accommodation guide! Save this post and go! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Day 1️⃣: First Karst Encounter in Jinchengjiang🌿

First stop after landing: the Jinchengjiang Little Three Gorges! Take a boat tour through the "Tian'e Three Gorges." The mountains on both sides look like they were carved by a knife, and the turquoise water reflects the turquoise cliffs. Every photo is a wallpaper-worthy sight~ [Cute]

If you're staying in downtown Jinchengjiang and visit Baima Pedestrian Street, you absolutely have to order the Jinchengjiang grilled fish! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in spicy and sour sauce, you'll fall in love with it in one bite!

Day 2️⃣: Unlocking the Secret to Longevity in Bama👴

This morning, I visited the Bama Crystal Palace and was stunned upon entering the cave! The stalactites glow like white jade, and walking through them feels like stepping into a fairytale crystal world. The abundance of negative oxygen ions makes every breath refreshing.

In the afternoon, visit Changshou Island and watch the live performance of "Dreaming of Bama," immersing you in the local ethnic culture!

In the evening, stay at the Narada Resort Hotel Cifu Lake. A nighttime tour of Cifu Lake is incredibly romantic. The lights on the lake reflect the distant mountains, like a shower of stars.

Day 3️⃣: Fengshan → Bama, two wonders in one day 🌅

In the morning, charter a car to Fengshan Sanmenhai! The turquoise waters here are breathtaking. Take a bamboo raft through three skylights, and the sunlight filters through, sparkling on the water. The "sea within the mountains" scene is truly unforgettable. Take your time strolling and taking photos throughout the entire trip, and you'll have the whole experience in about 1.5 hours.

In the afternoon, drive straight to Bama Baimo Cave for half an hour! The concentration of negative oxygen ions in the tiankeng is incredibly high, prompting many to specifically visit for a breathtaking rejuvenating experience. You can also witness the unique sight of people doing aerobics.

Overnight, stay in Bama Poyue Village, close to Baimo Cave, making it convenient for dining and shopping.

Day 4️⃣: Donglan → Nandan Ecological Day Exploration 🏞️

Morning: Depart to Pohao Lake National Wetland Park. The park boasts beautiful lakes and wetland landscapes, and also offers a self-drive camping site. Enjoy a boat trip and admire the scenic landscape along the way. The recommended visit time is 2-3 hours.

Afternoon: Explore the Nandan Mineral Hot Spring Ecological Tourism Area, featuring over 50 garden-style hot spring pools, geothermal stone baths, and more. It also includes a hot spring resort hotel and a Yao medicine spa, making it a great place for relaxation and wellness.

Day 5️⃣: Overlooking the stunning peaks and forests 🏜️

Spend the entire day exploring the Yaowang Tianxia Scenic Area! The Cloud Observation Deck, over 1,000 meters above sea level, feels like floating above a sea of clouds. On clear days, visibility is exceptional, and in the evenings, you can witness stunning sunsets. The 188-meter-long Time Tunnel's lights change with your footsteps, creating a sense of transporting you into a second dimension. The karst caves within the scenic area are also worth exploring, and paddling through the underground river is a unique experience. Brave souls can also try via ferrata climbing and cliff rappelling for a thrilling experience.

A leisurely return journey capped off this truly perfect Hechi trip!
