The reason why Qingpu Cultural Hotel is called a "hotel" instead of a "hotel" is because it is defined as an experiential venue. The hotel is rebuilt on the basis of five century-old tulou buildings: "Heyuan Building", "Huiyuan Building", "Daosun Building", "Wenxuan Building", and "Yaodong Building".
