Nanjing Shuyang Town Taxia Village Dam Yaodong Building
Qingpu Cultural Hotel·Nanjing Tulou is located in Taxia Village, Shuyang Town, Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. Starting from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, this unique world of Tulou dwellings has a history of more than 600 years. The hotel consists of five traditional Tulou with a long history, three of which were built in the late Qing Dynasty, and the other two were built in the Republic of China period.
The homestay was carefully crafted by the well-known domestic designer Hua Li. Adhering to Qingpu's brand concept of 'returning to the original', the designer retained the rammed earth walls and wooden railings of the Tulou, continuing the traditional architectural style and site-specific design to regulate indoor temperature and humidity, enhancing the modern living experience. The entire design revolves around the theme of the Hakka people's 'homeland in a foreign land, migration culture'.
The soft furnishings are simple yet tasteful, complementing the Tulou environment. The furniture in the rooms and public areas are all selected from the independent brand 'Fanji'. The nightly provided goodnight desserts, such as white fungus soup and small cookies, are homemade and vary daily.
