Morning Walk in Laomendong, Nanjing

Laomendong in Nanjing offers a glimpse into the past with its preserved and recreated architecture from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The area is filled with tiled roofs, wooden houses, and stone-paved streets, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you've traveled back in time, especially during the quiet morning hours.

During my visit in mid-April, the streets were adorned with roses and wisteria flowers, adding vibrant colors to the already stunning scenery.

The area gets busier around noon, so staying at a nearby hotel and visiting early in the morning is highly recommended!
