📅 Itinerary
Day 1:
Kick things off by checking into the Homeinn Plus Hotel (Nanjing Confucius Temple Scenic Area Xinalli), located at No. 127 Shengzhou Road, Shuangtang Street, Qinhuai District. It's a super convenient base, right in the heart of Nanjing and perfect for exploring!
Start your city stroll at Yuyuan Garden (Nanjing) – Mingyang Street, Qinhuai District. This spot’s open all year (09:00-17:30; last entry: 17:00; tickets: ¥18) and the lush vibes are totally photogenic. Take a chill break among ancient pavilions and classic bridges.
Evening idea: soak up the local feels at Confucius Temple Scenic Area. Vibe with the cool riverside lights and street snacks.
Day 2:
Morning mission: Dive deep into history at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders – Temporary Exhibition Hall (Shuiximen Street 418, close to Yunjin Road). The experience is intense, but so essential for understanding Nanjing’s story. Nearby, you’ll also find the Mass Grave Site at the same location for further reflection.
Pro tip: Pace yourself and bring tissues – this place hits hard.
Day 3:
Escape the city buzz and level up your Zen at Niushou Mountain Cultural Tourism Area. Don’t miss Buddha’s Top Pagoda for major “wow” energy, and make sure you stop by the Niushou Mountain Scenic Viewpoint for 🏞️ epic panoramas.
