The Number One Beautiful Pavilion

#chinatrip Jiaxiu Lou means The Number One Beautiful Pavilion. This is a signature building of Guiyang. When you mention Jiaxiu Lou, we knew which city you have been. Very unique design reflected Ming/Qin Dynasty architecture. Beautiful court yard with covered bridge over small pond where lotus flowers blooming and gold fishes swimming around. This was the place the scholars study in ancient times. I heard children laughing from the court yard. Above the hill, the ancient classrooms are still in use for Jiaxiu Elementary School. When you saw the little kids laughing playing in this ancient building, you can see in your own eyes how the tradition were passed down from generations to generations.
