Nantou Jiji-Jiji Railway Station (super delicious and photogenic)

Jiji Railway Station is a very old railway station built of cypress wood. Later, due to the 921 incident, it was rarely used. Later, it was changed to a painted sightseeing train. There are many people here on holidays.

In addition to a steam train for people to take photos, there are also many installations. There are also bicycle rental places around. You can ride around, green gardens and flowers. You don’t need to find any special attractions. Just stop when you see a beautiful place.

There are also many souvenir shops around, exquisite handmade soaps, and pendants, all suitable for taking back and sharing with friends. If you don’t want to ride a bike, you can also walk, because you can eat many small vendors and shops just by walking.

If you want a snack, try the nameless noodle shop, which is affordable and big, and is a favorite of locals. If you want to eat something more refined, there is a driftwood garden restaurant a little further away, but I prefer to eat small vendors while walking on the road.

If there are more vendors on holidays, it depends on luck on weekdays. If you want to take pictures, it is recommended to come on weekdays, and no one will compete with you. If you want to eat, consider holidays. There are pros and cons for each, and it depends on how you want to play!

I especially recommend ticket cookies and ice cream here. Ticket cookies are a feature. Are they delicious? I think they are ordinary, but very interesting. Ice cream and popsicles are highly recommended. Almost every store here sells ice. If you want to eat Taiwanese popsicles, there are also Western ice creams. The chance of stepping on thunder is not high. Basically, they are delicious. I eat a few sticks every few days I stay here. Haha, summer here is a paradise for eating ice.

The recommended itinerary is to rent a tandem bicycle after taking pictures here in the afternoon (it is too hot at noon) and pedal together. It is not too far. You can eat ice cream while pedaling. If you see something you like, buy it and get on the car. Enjoy the scenery all the way back. You can experience a good afternoon in about an hour.
