The Chung Tai World Museum, located in Puli Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, was founded by Chung Tai Chan Monastery and is a private museum dedicated to Buddhist art and historical artifacts. Its exterior is modeled after the Tang Dynasty city of Chang'an, symbolizing "a city that protects the Dharma." It blends traditional Chinese and modern design. The museum is expansive, spanning over nine hectares, with approximately 16,000 square meters of exhibition space across 18 halls.

The museum's collection focuses on Buddhist statues, stele rubbings, and over a thousand sets of rubbings donated by the Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum. Exhibitions are organized into three main themes: "Literature as a Carry of the Way" (stele rubbings and calligraphy), "Imagery as a Heartfelt Inspiration" (Buddhist statues), and "Scripture as a Transmission of the Dharma" (stone sutras and classics), showcasing the profound heritage of Buddhism and Chinese culture. Additionally, the Woodcarving Gallery showcases wooden Buddhist statues from various dynasties, with particularly valuable sculptures from the Liao and Jin dynasties.

The museum aims to promote Buddhism through art. Combining educational activities with modern technology, it offers audio guides, interactive parent-child experiences, and special exhibitions. It serves as a vital platform for integrating culture, art, and spiritual education.
