Earthquake Restoration

We have all seen many temples with magnificent and neat architecture. This time, I will introduce to you a temple ruins after an earthquake.
Wuchang Temple, located in Jiji Town, Nantou County, Taiwan, was severely damaged in the September 21, 1999 earthquake. The ruins of the temple are now preserved for tourism purposes.
The first thing I saw was that the temple had only one floor destroyed by the earthquake and was leaning. It had to be stabilized with steel cables, and the steel bars were exposed, which made me think of the power of the earthquake.
