Shaved ice from "Hosekibako" in Nara Prefecture

Nara is known as the holy land of shaved ice. I believe "Hosekibako" pioneered the shaved ice boom. It's a place I've always wanted to visit during my trip to Nara. 😊

I ordered the Amber Pearl Deluxe for ¥1,300. It was a fluffy milk-based shaved ice. Since I visited around Setsubun (Setsubun), they also had the Aooni-san 2023 (¥1,450).

Reservations are required online. There are other house rules, so be sure to check the official website.
