Nara's Secret Spots Revealed! The amazing and unexpected attraction #吉城园 .
On the way from Nara Park to Todaiji Temple, right next to the big gate of Isuien Garden, there is a small gate with #吉城园 written on it. You need to push open the bamboo fence door to enter. This alone isolates 99% of tourists, and they can't even visit without an entrance fee!
June is the season of new green. It drizzled all day yesterday, washing away all the noise. It was sunny today, and the not-so-strong sunlight in the morning turned the Japanese landscape garden of Yoshikien into a beautiful painting.
No need for red maple leaves, no need for spring cherry blossoms, no need for white snow, the green in front of us is amazing. I didn’t expect that the new green could be so beautiful.
The quiet and classic Japanese garden is located beside a gentle river, with a wooden teahouse and fresh green maple leaves. It’s just a simple description, but the beauty of it can only be felt intuitively.
Yoshikien Garden is just one of hundreds of Japanese gardens in the Kansai region. It is small and not well-known, but at the right time and in the right weather, I unexpectedly visited it and lingered there for an hour.
In the first half, the sun was not very strong and there were clouds and shadows, creating a quiet and beautiful atmosphere; in the second half, the sun was shining brightly and the light was too strong, and I suddenly felt like something was missing, a very magical feeling.
