Change the scenery and enjoy the modern architecture of Nara. It is a 5-minute walk from the ice cream shop opposite Shinyakushiji Temple. This museum was designed by Kurokawa Kisho. With its simple and neat white and sunken entrance stairs, it is a very stylish and beautiful space.

The upper floor of the museum is a cafe, and the lower floor is the exhibition room. It is called Nara City Photographic Museum, and the works on display are the photography works of Irie Taikichi, who specializes in photographing Buddha statues and recording the local customs of Nara. There is also a beautiful library.
