Kicking off my solo adventure across Japan with epic vibes! This is the first 2 days of my 9-part series—you don’t wanna miss these memories. Hop on for the ride as I share all the travel deets!
Day 1 & 2: Started at Phnom Penh, then a stopover at Baiyun Guangzhou Airport. Not gonna lie, the views from the airplane window were STUNNING 🤩—clouds on clouds!
Landing in Tokyo with all the feels and a suitcase full of excitement, I breezed through customs and grabbed my JR Pass (Traveler pro tip: this saves serious yen on trains). Next up, hopped on the iconic shinkansen bullet train—zooming north to Sendai to see the legendary Magical Mirai. Scored tickets, and I’m still pinching myself! Lucky or what?
Sendai’s known for gyutan (beef tongue), and I HAD to try it. Pulled up at Rikyu Sendai Station Store (1-1-1 Chuo Aobaku Sendai Station 3F Gyutan Dori, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture 980-0021). The place is super famous—waited almost an hour, but totally worth it. Every bite: sooo good! From the perfectly grilled beef tongue to those Japanese-style desserts, everything hit different. They know how to serve up flavor 🔥.
Can’t wait to drop more trip stories, so hit that follow and stay tuned for Day 3—this solo female traveler is just getting started! 💪🥳 #hatsunemiku #solofemaletraveller #japantrip
