Few people do not know Paharganj area.

Because it is full of cheap accommodation, restaurants, shopping areas
It is comparable to the rice road of India.

But if you do not like the hustle and bustle, like a little peace
I recommend staying in another area, go to another zone
Because this area is quite crowded, dirty
You can see the real Indian way of life.

We chose to stay in this area because it is next to New Delhi Railway Station, where we will have to take the train at 06.00 to Agra in the morning. So we chose accommodation that is convenient to walk to the train station.

If you come to walk in this area, if it is not necessary or you do not want to be bothered when people come to bother you and you do not want to buy anything or use any service, the way to avoid it is not to talk to people who come to greet you. Do not waste time refusing, whether it is a rickshaw, beggar, or vendor. It is best not to make eye contact. It works very well!! They will back off on their own. We tried it and it works in every city in India.
