Lodhi Garden

July 5 2025 was our second day in Delhi. Our guide took us to Lodhi Garden which is a peaceful and historic park right in the city. It covers a large area and has old tombs from the 15th century mixed with green lawns and walking paths.

We enjoyed strolling through the quiet gardens. The kids were excited to find a plant that closed its leaves when touched and spent a lot of time playing with it. I really liked the herb garden with its many fragrant plants. The whole place felt calm and beautiful.

It was a very hot day and the kids found it a bit too warm to explore everything. Still, we had a great time. The mix of old buildings, plants, and nature made Lodhi Garden a nice break from the busy city.

This spot is lovely and full of history. It’s a great place for families, history fans, or anyone looking for some quiet time in Delhi.
