#TaiwanTravel
In early March, the weather was nice. I escaped to Taipei, Taiwan.
This trip focused on eating, sleeping, and traveling a little bit in a chill way... On the first day, I arrived and rested. On the second day, we traveled.
The accommodation is next to the red line MRT, going all the way to Tam Sui Station. I have never been on this route before, so I took the opportunity to visit it.
I got off at Tam Sui MRT Station and saw a bus stop to Tianyuan Temple. I tapped my ezy card on the bus, which was convenient. I didn't have to worry about exchanging coins to get on the bus.
The bus was full of people. I met 2 retired Thais on the bus.
I got off at the stop in front of the temple and walked in. There is no entrance fee to this temple.
The front is a Chinese-style temple. The back is a pagoda, which looks like the Temple of Heaven in Beijing.
I looked around the temple and walked up the 5-story pagoda to see the view of New Taipei City. One side is the sea and the other side is the mountain. I stopped to pay respect to the gods and statues of Bodhisattvas and Mahayana Buddhas on every floor in the middle of the pagoda.
At this time, the flowers in the temple were just starting to bud. Anyone who comes in April will probably see beautiful blooms.
When the time is right, I'm starting to get hungry, so I walk to catch the same bus in front of the temple and go back to Tam Sui station as usual.
The next destination is Bali Beach and see the view along the water at Tam Sui.
