I went to Taiwan on my first overseas trip.

And I went to Jiufen Old Street, a classic tourist spot.

There's a must-try dish!

📍 Akan'i Taro Balls
📍 No. 5, Shuqi Rd, Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan 22448

This appears to be a zenzai shop.

They serve zenzai made with taro, which is hard to find in Japan.

The taro was plentiful and filling.

There's also an eat-in area at the back of the store,

and the view is amazing!

I recommend taking a break here while enjoying some taro zenzai!
