Yingge Old Street

Yingge Ceramics Old Street is located on Wenhua Road and Jianshanpu Road. It is the earliest gathering place for Yingge ceramics. There were many kilns in the early days. The ceramic craft has a history of 200 years. The early production techniques were all passed down by masters from mainland China. The clay used was all collected from the vicinity of Jianshan, making the Jianshanpu area a nationally famous ceramic town and giving Yingge the reputation of "Taiwan's Jingdezhen". The most famous thing about Yingge Ceramic Old Street is an old chimney about 30 to 40 years old called the "Four-Cornered Kiln". There is also another chimney called the "Tunnel Kiln", but it has gradually disappeared with the changes of the times. Currently, the first impression of Yingge Ceramic Old Street is the interweaving of traditional and modern buildings.
