Shen’ao Elephant Trunk Rock

As the name suggests, the natural rock arch resembles the head and trunk of an elephant. The unique shape is the result of erosion of the sea waves over time. The coastline is made up of peculiar stones and rocks which was a sight to see.

Upon entering the park, you will have to follow the trail and climb up the slope in order to see the magnificent trunk rock. However, the entire place is scenic so you can just walk around and enjoy the beauty of nature.

How we got there?
From Taipei, we took a bus to KeeLung, then taxi to the Shen’ao Elephant Trunk Rock (Taxi fare was NTD 400 from KeeLung)
Tips: Apply sunblock liberally
