Walk into the illusion of traveling through time and space in one second - Banqiao Lin Family Garden

The Lin Family Garden in Banqiao, New Taipei City, was built a hundred years ago by the wealthy Banqiao businessman Lin Benyuan at great expense, imitating the Liuyuan Garden in Suzhou. In order to pursue the enjoyment of residential life or to entertain guests, such an exquisite and beautiful garden was left behind, so this place is also called "Lin Benyuan Garden Residence". Later, after being expanded by the brothers Lin Guohua and Lin Guofang, it became the residence of the Lin Benyuan family and a national historic site. The architectural decorations in the mansion not only have a strong Chinese style, but the carving craftsmanship on the building is also exquisite. In 1976, the Lin Benyuan family donated part of the garden to the then Taipei County Government (now the New Taipei City Government). After the first restoration in 1986, it was opened to the public for a fee.
Transportation is very convenient. You can take the MRT Bannan Line to Exit 1 of Fuzhong Station, walk about 200 meters along Fuzhong Road, turn right onto Wenchang Street, and walk to the end to arrive.
