Yinyang Sea has two colors of seawater, and the unique scenery of golden yellow and blue seawater intertwined with each other is famous worldwide.
The unique golden color of the seawater is due to the abundance of pyrite in the nearby Jinguashi Mountain. After pyrite weathers, it releases copper and iron ions, mixes with water to form iron hydroxide, and absorbs sediment to form yellow-brown floating matter.
This forms the unique scenery of Yinyang Sea.
If you want to fully appreciate Yinyang Sea, in addition to viewing it along the coastal road, you can also go to the Suinan Cave parking lot observation deck, but the better viewpoint is definitely to drive up a little. There are many scenic spots along the way, and the observation deck offers a great view.
