Meow-nificent Quick Glance Trip at Taiwan Houtong Cat Village

Today we're visiting the purr-fectly charming Houtong Cat Village in Taiwan. This feline paradise is a must-see for any cat lover. Getting here is super easy and part of the adventure. From Taipei Main Station, take a scenic TRA train ride to Ruifang Station, which typically takes about an hour. Once there, you'll transfer to the smaller, enchanting Pingxi Line and ride just one more stop to Houtong Station. The entire journey is a breeze, taking roughly an hour and a half.

The village itself is an open, walkable space that's free to enter and explore at any time. However, to fully enjoy the cafes, souvenir shops, and food stalls, it's best to visit between 10 am and 6 pm when most businesses are operating. Remember to be respectful of the local residents—both human and feline—and have a paw-some time with these furry friends!
