A Relaxing Day Trip to Shifen, Pingxi

This time, we visited Shifen in Pingxi, and our first stop was the famous Shifen Waterfall! As we approached, the roaring sound of the waterfall greeted us, and the mist hitting our faces felt incredibly refreshing—perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.

After enjoying the waterfall, we headed to Shifen Old Street. The street is packed with food stalls and quaint shops, making it a delight to stroll through while snacking. We also saw many people releasing sky lanterns, their colorful glow slowly ascending into the sky—a truly romantic sight. Once you're full and satisfied, you can pick up some unique souvenirs to remember the trip. Walking through the old street naturally slows your pace, letting you soak in the charm of the town.

Shifen offers not only the awe of nature but also the warmth of a small town, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway.
