[New Taipei City] Very Autumn Hot Pot

I heard Henqiu Hot Pot is really famous. I went with a friend to check it out, and we both love hot pot. We went to the Xinzhuang branch. The interior is bright and clean. Through the glass windows, you can watch everyone enjoying hot pot.

Dongshi Oyster Hot Pot, NT$350

My friend ordered the oysters, and they were a real eye-catcher the moment they arrived. The plate was overflowing with large, plump oysters. Even after being cooked in the hot pot, they didn't shrink much and were still fresh and sweet. *If you want to reduce the calories, you can replace the broth with plain water.

Yilan Cherry Duck, NT$320 (6oz). I chose the cherry duck, which I don't often eat. The duck meat wasn't too greasy. It cooked through in a jumbo kelp pot in no time. Delicious! The vegetable plates at Henqiu can be exchanged for meat plates.

Their vegetable plates are excellent, and the hot pot ingredients can be exchanged for vegetables.

For dessert, there's grass jelly honey and all-you-can-eat Meiji ice cream.
