The store specializes in making porridge out of raw rice and then adding nuts. Customers can first choose the appropriate portion based on the number of people eating, and then choose their favorite ingredients to add to the porridge according to their personal preferences. For example, crabs, fresh shrimps, local chickens... and so on. I highly recommend the local chicken porridge. Apart from the fact that I am lazy and prefer to drink porridge with fewer bones and remove the shells, the texture of the local chicken goes best with the taste of the nutty porridge base.
For the first time, I discovered the winter-only fried garlic soybean sprouts (220 yuan) among the hot stir-fried dishes. I was curious at first. There was a plate of emerald green vegetables on every table, which looked delicious! I only found out the name of the dish after asking the waiter. The taste is refreshing and crispy, and the garlic is very fragrant. Very suitable for porridge.
Because I really wanted to eat shrimp balls, I ordered Ferrero Rocher and sweet and sour. Both taste good, but Ferrero Rocher is more suitable for porridge.
Sesame oil kidney is also a highly recommended dish. The sesame oil smell is not strong! But the kidneys are very tender.

The main store is located opposite the New Taipei City Government gate. After Kuanxinyuan moved away, the store moved to Kuanxinyuan’s location!
