New York from a different perspective

Take a boat from New York Park and as the boat sails on the Hudson River, you can see the Statue of Liberty standing on the island in the distance, symbolizing freedom and hope. As the boat got closer, the outline and details of the statue became clearer, and the posture of holding the torch was solemn and shocking. After arriving on the island, I walked into the museum and learned about the design process of the statue and its significance to immigrants through historical pictures, artifacts and videos. Seeing the display of the original torch, I felt the passage of time and the weight of history. This visit gave me a deeper appreciation for the value of freedom and a deeper understanding of the history of this city. #2024TravelReview
